The
European translation industry is currently facing several issues, from worldwide competition and automatic translation software, to
selecting the right talents and strategies to make way for a brighter future. In dealing with such issues, we are able to rethink things and seize
new opportunities. The 8th EUATC (European Union of Associations of TranslationCompanies) conference, which is set to take place in Brussels
on 3 May 2013, will provide an opportunity to do just that…

The results of a wide-scale analysis of the European translation market shall be revealed at the conference.

The extensive survey provides an in-depth, resolutely European look at the current situation of the translation market. Ultimately, it will provide an
opportunity to underline the expectations and concerns of those working in translation, against the backdrop of a turbulent economic climate.

Peoples’ responses will be collated with official statistics, while taking into account information on the impact of translation companies on social media,
the press and much more.

European translation companies will be able to find out more about the current trends beyond Europe as well as how innovation is playing a part in the
translation industry and what issues companies actually face.

The Thon Hotel EU, nestled in the centre of Brussels’ European Quarter, is set to play host to the conference, providing a unique opportunity for people
to meet and greet their EU contacts and discuss issues with the EU bodies attending the conference.

The EUATC conference is a unique event for all European translation companies to make their voices heard at European level.

Don’t delay, take part today! Survey ends on 1 March 2013.

If you are unable to attend the EUATC conference in Brussels on 3 May 2013, make sure you check out the survey results on the EUATC website: www.euatc.org .
